Hierophant Tarot: An Explanation

Hierophant Tarot

The Hierophant Tarot Card asks you to take a hard look at who influences your life. Personal growth is on the horizon; still, you need to consider the people and the content you allow to keep in your life to reach the next level.

Ask yourself; who do you turn to for advice? Who do you spend your time with? Do they bring you towards your goals or further away? Do they have your best interest at heart? What do you read? What do you watch?

Many people have hidden agendas, not too doom and gloom, but we must learn to trust ourselves and our decision-making moving forward.

Trust Yourself

Our success in life is dependent on the types of energies that surround our closest circle of influence.

On the Hierophant Tarot Card, a man sits on his knees in front of the Pope, and he is a follower and not an independent individual. That must change. Because political, religious and spiritual dogma pollutes people’s minds- not to mention the vast power of social media. To enter the next stage of our existence, we have to take hold of our own lives and take responsibility for who we are.

We must decide for ourselves who we are going to listen to or not.

Our future depends on it.

The man kneeling in front of the Pope must stand up with confidence, believe in themselves, and know their worth; he needs to define himself and not by other people’s expectations.

He needs to learn to lead his own life.

The Hierophant Tarot Card also asks us to begin to derive meaning from a practice of inwardness rather than external reward. Because the positive effects of external reward are fleeting with a short duration, we will always find our way through when we seek meaning from within, regardless of what is going on outside.

Purpose, direction, principles and well-established values will become essential for the coming days. They will help you handle the uncertainty of life in a much better way. Because when we have an internal compass that will steer our decision making.

That is what the Hierophant Tarot Card asks us to do: to become more rooted in how we are as an individual, defined by ourselves and not other people.

What you have read above is my reading, affirmation, take on the card at this moment in time. I ask you to make up your mind to create your affirmations of how you want to live your life.

Do not take my word for it.

Lead Your Life

How to activate the energy of the Hierophant Tarot Card

You can start the power of the Hierophant Tarot Card in a few different ways.

  1. You must learn to calm the physical mind to strengthen the psychic mind via the practice of meditation. In meditation, we can enter the World Of the Spirit, and from that place, we can draw upon an immense strength to support the difficulties of our physical life.
  2. Establish your purpose, principles and values. You can find exercises on how to achieve this in many places on the internet. These elements will root yourself in who you are and what you believe in. You might discover that you think something completely different from what you thought.
  3. Evaluate how you spend your time and who you spend it with. Ask yourself how you feel after watching Netflix, the news, or spending time with a particular person. Do you still think they have your best interest at heart?
  4. Try to hold the Hierophant Tarot Card in the palms of your hands as you do meditation and see what comes towards you. Your experience of the card might be completely different from what I have written above. A reading of a card will always be individual to that moment in time, which becomes very apparent in a Psychic Tarot Reading. You always have to do the reading according to the individual needs at that moment in time.

Summary of the Hierophant Tarot Card

  • Consider very carefully who you take advice from
  • Political, religious and spiritual institutions are powerful. If you are a part of a large movement, make sure it is authentically correct for you. And not only something you joined by happenstance.
  • Seek meaning and purpose from within over external reward. You will find that external reward is fleeting, and the duration of its positive effects are short.
  • Curate your purpose, principles, and well-established values
